Join us for an unforgettable week of sailing around the stunning Greek Heptanese Islands. Make friends, learn to sail, and enjoy cosy nights on the water. Every day offers a different island to explore.
Sailing in Greece is a near mythical experience. Light winds and warm waters invite sailors of all abilities to take on this real adventure. Add picture-perfect beaches, secluded coves and long, sun-soaked days on deck. All yachts have a fully-qualified skipper but you’ll still have chance to take the helm as you strike out for scattered islands. Indulge in water sports, snorkel or simply relax.
Adventure highlights
1.Ionian freedom by sea
Set sail from Lefkas and island-hop through one of Greece’s most beautiful corners. By day, each crew is free to choose its own pace, swim stops and secret coves; by evening, the flotilla comes back together for sunset drinks, dinner and stories from the day’s adventure.
2.Easy as A, B, Sea
With qualified skippers on every boat, you’ll quickly learn the ropes, get involved and work together to sail from one sun-soaked stop to the next. Sheltered anchorages, gentle conditions and easy moorings make the Ionian a dream playground for first-time sailors and experienced skippers alike.
3.Golden-hour Greek style
Evenings bring everyone back together for dinner in a local taverna. Expect great food, ice-cold drinks and epic sunsets — then choose your own adventure: stay for the stories and dancing, or unwind beneath the stars.

An impactful purpose is central to all of our adventures. We actively support the communities we visit through fundraising, donations and volunteer experience days.

Virgin Unite fosters community relationships and supports local initiatives, focusing on addressing community and environmental challenges by bringing together people, ideas, and resources. They work with local change-makers and communities to tackle issues related to the environment, entrepreneurship, education, and public health.
Trip itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to the Greek Islands
You’ll need to make own way to Sunsail’s Lefkas marina by 16:00. If you’re earlier, you’ll drop your bags in the storage area, sign in, pick up your team shirt, and receive your instructions. There’s a pool, restaurants, showers, toilets, provisioning, ATM and gift shopping in the marina. Once your boat is ready at 18:00, head to your boat to meet your new crew mates.
Each boat will be given a kitty for all breakfasts, lunches and snacks on board. Once you are together as a crew, head to the local supermarket for supplies. You’ll all be connected via WhatsApp 12 weeks before departure once balances are paid. We suggest you plan your provisioning ahead.
Early evening we gather for a sunset cocktail, briefing and welcome dinner. Let the fun begin!

Day 2: Sail Lefkas to Vathi, Meganisi
Today starts with another, more technical, welcome briefing in the morning (sailing shirts on for the group photo!).
We aim to leave at 11am. Boats set sail and today it's all about the crew — led by the skipper — getting acquainted with the boat and sailing.
Leave Lefkas, pass the tiny islet of Forti and out in the Ionian Sea to tiny, green Meganisi. Vathi is one of the world’s largest natural harbours and is the perfect spot to moor overnight. Chance to hike the forested hills around Vathi or snorkel the sunken plane wreck in the shallow harbour. We stay local for a group evening dinner watching one of Greece’s beautiful sunsets.

Day 3: Sail Meganisi to Sivota
Enroute to Sivota are endless bays to stop and swim along the way. Sail past Scorpios, originally owned by Aristotle Onassis. Group dinner in the lively, picturesque village.
Sailing: 2.5 hours/12 nautical miles
Mooring: lazy line on the taverna’s pontoon

Day 4: Sail Sivota to Fiscardo, Kefalonia
Enjoy a few miles of open water before reaching Kefalonia, famous for Captain Corelli and olive oil. Fiscardo is a traditional Greek village, worth a stroll before another group dinner in a local taverna.

Day 5: Sail from Kefalonia to Lefkas
Now you’re familiar with your boat and crew, you’ve got time to explore independently the numerous small bays, beaches and coves of Kefalonia, Ithaca, Arkoudi or Atokos.

Day 6: Sail Lefkas to Palairos
We head towards the busy mainland town of Palairos with an anchored lunch spot on the way in Varko Bay.
Sailing: 2.5 hours/ 12 nautical miles
Mooring: Lazy line on a town quay or at anchor, your choice
Sat 19th Jun '27
Day 7: Sail back to Lefkas
We make our way slowly back to the Lefkas base. Once moored, enjoy watersports, hiking or shopping. Our Celebration Dinner and party is in a local restaurant. Sleep overnight onboard before departure by 09:00 next morning.
Sun 20th Jun '27
Day 8: Farewell, Lefkas
After breakfast on board, it’s time to say goodbye to your crew and your floating home. Please check out by 09:00, then make your own onward travel arrangements from Lefkas marina — taking with you an azure-blue-filled photo stream, new sailing skills and memories to last a lifetime.
