Mallorca Preservation Foundation (MAPF) was established in 2017 to safeguard Mallorca’s extraordinary natural beauty and champion environmental excellence across the island. Its vision is a sustainable future where local communities thrive in harmony with a protected and resilient natural environment.

MAPF connects individuals and organisations who care deeply about Mallorca with impactful local projects that are making a tangible difference on the ground. The foundation supports initiatives focused on marine conservation, organic and regenerative farming, environmental education, and sustainable development helping to protect Mallorca’s land and seas for generations to come.

In partnership with our friends at Son Bunyola, we are proud to support MAPF as one of the local community charities championed through Virgin Adventures.

In 2026, we will be fundraising for MAPF’s Re-Generation Project an environmental education programme designed to foster ecological awareness and promote sustainable practices that protect and preserve the environment. Through education, particularly among young people, communities are empowered to take an active role in solving environmental challenges. By nurturing informed and engaged citizens, the programme helps ensure that natural resources are conserved for future generations. 

At a time when the world faces urgent challenges such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution, environmental education is a vital tool in achieving sustainable and equitable development.
